John Baggio

Graphic Designer-Fine Artist

I have been creating art ever since I can remember and my passion is my business. Most of my career has been in graphic design beginning as an art director for a trade magazine and later on as a packaging designer/art director for a consumer health and beauty manufacturing company.

Although I still design a variety of promotional pieces for Baggio Graphics, I have returned to painting, my original passion, as a path for my creative skills. The Impressionist style forms the basis of my work and my inspiration began with places in Italy that I have visited and where my relatives live; Milan, Venice, Florence, Rome and Sorrento. My work connects me to my Italian roots and it gives me pleasure to portray the beauty of Italy through my paintings.

My current work has focuses on recreating the beauty of regional landscapes such as Eagle River Wisconsin and how light plays onto the heavily wooded areas. I will continue to explore the beauty that surrounds us and how to best portray it through my paintings.
